How I Help You

Coaching

“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” - Albert Einstein

Coaching is intimate—you will get to know yourself more deeply than you ever have. While we will take action in your external life, the work begins with your interior.

What does that mean?

If you have been unable to make your desired change (how you feel, or external life situation), it’s because you’re using the same thinking that got you where you are now. Many who are stuck, suffering, or seeking, are unaware there is another experience beyond the security or comfort from success, material possessions, or even romantic relationships. To grow and change, we begin with the discovery and incorporation of a higher level of consciousness. I call this Awareness. Finish reading here and then jump to Life with Awareness.

Methodology & Packages

My program incorporates three consistent principles. Work is customized for each person. Review, send me an email, and let’s talk.

1. Awareness: Sometimes, we don’t know what we don’t know. We can’t see that we don’t see.

Most of us only know our symptoms—lack of satisfaction at home or work, desire for change but lack of direction, and beginning to participate in and repeat behavior we know is unhealthy. And while we think we know why we do our jobs and raise or families—to pay the mortgage, experience love, etc., few people ever look deeper. While unconscious (until we become conscious of it), there are an underlying belief systems managing our lives more than we are. Many of our thoughts, turned into behavior are nearly automatic, until we become aware. One example is staying in mediocre or even abusive relationships too long. Why? Often, it’s the result of an underlying fear of loneliness and a clinging to the familiar. Another example is continuing to settle for unfulfilling professional lives. Again, why? Together we’ll find out. Is it because you hold yourself to a standard so high, i.e. perfectionism, that the result is always self-judgment feeling not good enough?

Awareness starts by bringing the unconscious, conscious. All of your experiences including your work, relationships, and coping mechanisms were critical in your development so far. They are all “normal.” We will look closer at:

Mental & Psychological: What are the lenses in which I see my life and the world?

Awareness cycle simplified.png
  • Authentic Desire vs. Conditioned Thinking, Belief Systems, and Goals

    • What would I do (professionally) if I could start over, or if I wasn’t afraid?

    • If I wasn’t in this relationship already, would I want it now?

Emotional: Feelings & Reactions

  • Fear & Love

  • Guilt & Shame (they are not the same)

  • Resentments

Behavior: Change & Grow

  • Priorities

  • Disturbances, Challenges, Problems

  • Contrary Action

2. Power: Organic, Divine Guidance

No matter what your religious or spiritual beliefs were or are, spiritual power is a resource greater than you alone. It has the ability to help you in ways that you cannot help yourself. However, frequently, the biggest obstacle to accessing this power is our thoughts about what it is. We will:

  1. Discuss and define a spiritual power of your own understanding

  2. Develop a daily contemplation, prayer, and meditation practice (CPM)

  3. Discern between thoughts from your current consciousness (that created today’s problems) and direction from your highest consciousness

3. Practice: Action

No amount of self-knowledge alone will create a sustainable, improved life experience. To feel better, ultimately, we must behave differently. While becoming more aware of, and aligning with your purpose, you will be in action:

  1. Complete a rich personal inventory. This will reveal your authentic gifts and desires, as well as provide structure to clean up any harm caused in your past.

  2. Identify and begin practicing new behaviors in alignment with your purpose.

  3. Consistent work with me directly to process your interior experience as your exterior changes.

  4. Be of service to others.

Immersive & Rich

My immersive program is limited to 4 individuals, available only through an application process. It is my most impactful program, requiring commitment of 8-10 hours/week (with me + self-study).

Bespoke Maintenance

After you’ve participated in one of my programs, we can develop an on-going program or set a la carte appointments with me.

My observation and experience is that some people will take the program that we design together and work it effectively after our initial relationship concludes. Others struggle without an accountability partner. Perhaps a monthly check-in will help you maintain your daily practice? Or you may have a specific project where ongoing coaching is helpful. Or you want to build on what you’ve experienced and invest further into the overall process. We will discuss your needs and I will help you maintain in a way that continues to develop your practice and deliver real results.
